The CareGiver is a WordPress site I worked on at Metal Toad. As the primary, post-launch, developer, I made numerous plugin and core updates, added and improved functionality, and fixed bugs affecting the website and mobile apps.
As a support project, the Git workflow for this project differed from most of the others I worked on at Metal Toad. Rather than merging dev-based feature branches into dev, and dev into staging, and staging into prod, I merged prod-based feature branches into dev, and the same prod-based feature branches into staging, and again the prod-based feature branches into prod. At times, finding a clean space to work was quite the challenge when several features were in process at once.
