During my almost 3 years on New Relic’s GTM website team, I managed the cross-browser, cross-platform, automated and manual testing of the newrelic.com marketing website from strategy to execution. Given our product led growth environment, our highest priority was the acquisition of new users, followed closely by a dynamic collection of pricing and product information pages. We frequently employed A/B testing and robust analytics on critical paths. Over time, we began to emphasize a sales led growth approach, leading to the inclusion of more customer stories and personalized content.

I developed a custom Node.js module to use BackstopJS for visual regression testing. I also developed a second Node.js module to leverage Cypress.io for functional testing. Using Cypress gave me the opportunity to involve my fellow web developers in test development and maintenance; a terrific boost to overall productivity.
